Folk customs, traditions, legends and myths abound in Sorbian culture. January 25th of each year marks the date of the Bird's wedding, a custom in which children are rewarded by the 'birds' that have been fed all winter and then want to celebrate and reward the children with candy and cookies. In some areas, the younger grades of school dress up for the celebration. ***If you would like to submit a photo of such a celebration please do so for select inclusion on this topic as well as other customs in the future***
